Andover High School Team Wins Interstate Quiz Show Competition

ANDOVER, MA -- A team of students from Andover High School one an interstate Quiz Show competition that pitted state winners from New England states against one another. The Andover High team had qualfied by winning the 9th season of WGBH's Quiz Show earlier this month. The final round of the interstate competition aired this past Saturday, with Andover defeating a team from Salem, NH High School.

"It's just been a great ride for them," Andover High Principal Philip Conrad told the Eagle Tribune, which first reported this story. "It's a fun opportunity for all of us to see the kids do so well, particularly when we hear about these other schools that do so well, to go head-to-head with them and come out on top is nice."
