Speaker John Kimball has a lifelong passion for preserving the Ward Reservation, a property of The Trustees of Reservations located in Andover and North Andover, where trails link three major hills, solstice stones mark one grassy summit, and visitors can traverse a rare quaking bog. Kimball assumed the reservation's care in 1956 after the death of his grandmother. A graduate of Harvard University, he was a professor of biology at Tufts University and taught biology at Phillips Academy and immunology at Harvard. Kimball's particular focus at Ward Reservation is the elimination of invasive plant materials.
The location is Salvatore's (Sal's Pizza and Italian Restaurant), 354 Merrimack Street, Lawrence MA.
