Andover Garden Club Membership Meeting and Program, "Unusual and Usual House Plants"

Unusual house plants call upon our sense of wonder but their greater appeal lies in our ability to cultivate them in our homes.  Cathy Felton, vice chair and horticulture instructor for the National Garden Clubs Gardening Study School and a master flower show judge, will share her insights into taking care of house plants. Plants will be available for purchase after the meeting.

Founded in 1927, the Andover Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that encourages the study and practice of horticulture, landscape design, and floral design; aids in the beautification of the town of Andover; and helps protect and conserve natural resources. The club provides both financial and hands-on support to a variety of municipal, educational, and environmental organizations throughout the region. Information about joining the Andover Garden Club is available from AGC membership chairs Yvonne Glendon (978-247-8960, yglendon@comcast.net) and Dana MacKay (978-475-4451, dmmm51@yahoo.com).
