The alumni band has performed many times in the park in previous seasons, and plays a lively mix of swing, jazz, blues, Latin, and pop-n-rock music from across the decades.

The band is made up of 10 members, each of which have long impressive resumes. Rico, the bands namesake and lead singer, has written over 300 songs, including a top 40 dance club hit called Forbidden Love. He sings and plays drums for the band. Additional band members include Dave Dubinsky, trumpet, Carl Reppucci, Jr., piano, Peter Mundt, bass and lead vocals, Doug Leaffer, tenor saxophone, Mike DiBari, guitar, Yvonne Wollack, drums, Jody Bregler, drums, Gary Johnson, drums, and Todd Baker, bass.

Peggy Patenaude, a realtor with William Raveis in Andover, has generously sponsored Rico Barr & the Jumpin’ Jive Band and will be on site to share in the entertainment.
