Arlington Arrest Log: Warrant Arrest, Uninsured Motor Vehicle Trailer

An excerpt from the Arlington Police Arrest Logs.

JULY 25, 5:01 P.M.: Arlington Police arrested Ruben Quinones, 32, of Boston on charges of a fugitive of justice on court warrant and an uninsured motor vehicle/trailer.

Police observed a blue Saturn Ion traveling on River Street, and conducted a random check of the registration. Police say they later discovered that the vehicle was revoked due to insurance and the operator had a suspended/non-renewable license.

According to police, an officer stopped the vehicle driven by Quinones, who stated that the passenger owned the vehicle, who stated she was unaware of any license issues. The officer then checked Quinones driver's license which he produced without incident, and discovered that he had an active default warrant out of Somerville District Court for leaving the scene of property damage and a marked lanes violation.
