"Helping Parents Take Control of the Financial Aid Process" A special FREE workshop will be held at Robbins Library - Community Room, Wednesday, October 19, 2011, from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. The library is located at 700 Massachusetts Ave., Arlington. The event will be hosted by Dan Sullivan of Mass College Funding Alternatives, Arlington, MA. The speaker will be Mr. Kevin Simme, a nationally recognized college funding expert and author of the new book "The Key to Paying for College". Topics include: * The real reason why financial "pros" and others such as family, friends, neighbors, guidance counselors, and financial aid officerscan actually limit your financial aid opportunities. * How to pick colleges that will give you the most amount of FREE money. * How to send you child to an expensive private university for less than the cost of a local state college. * Why many local parents are losing thousands of dollars in financial aid every year.
