This free interactive workshop will show you how to calculate your carbon footprint and discover ways to reduce it without spending a fortune or falling for green-washing schemes. You will also learn how to make sense of labels like "organic fair trade" and "humane," so that you're able to make wise purchasing decisions. This event is offered by Arlington Community Education and co-sponsored by Sustainable Arlington, a task group of the Town of Arlington's Vision 2020 committee. The instructor has a master's degree in natural resources and environmental policy. Pre-registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
