Arlington Women Shields Toddler from Falling Tree
The tree which fell on Morton Road injured the woman, according to CBS Boston.
A woman reportedly was struck shielding her toddler from part of the tree that fell Monday afternoon on Morton Road.
The tree took a transformer with it, putting some in the dark, Arlington Police said. The woman, Sarah Dredge, suffered a head injury, reports CBS Boston. Her toddler and two other people with them were reportedly uninjured.
Dredge was expected to recover, her family told CBS Boston.

More than 100 were without power in Arlington, according to MEMA. Thousands in neighboring towns were without power throughout the day thanks to wet, heavy snow and strong winds have been a problem all day.
Arlington Police were asking residents to avoid the Morton Road area.
