Teenager Arrested After Assaulting Person With Firearm At Medford MBTA Station
The male is now in police custody.
MEDFORD, MA — A teenager was arrested for assaulting a person with a firearm Thursday evening, according to the MBTA Transit Police.
Officers responded to the scene at the Wellington MBTA Orange Line shortly after 8:30 p.m. to find the 16-year-old boy reportedly hitting another person with a replica Glock 17 pistol. According to transit police, the victim was trying to retrieve their motorcycle from the teen, who had stolen it. The teen fled the scene on foot upon officers' arrival but was soon caught and taken into custody.
