Kindergarten Teacher Running For Arlington School Committee
Liz Exton, a teacher at Brookline's Lawrence School, is the first newcomer in the School Committee race.

ARLINGTON, MA — Teacher and Arlington resident Liz Exton took out papers Thursday for the School Committee race. Exton, a kindergarten teacher at Brookline's Lawrence School, is the first newcomer in the School Committee race.
Three candidates so far have pulled papers for School Committee in the April 4 Town Election. Incumbents Bill Hayner and Paul Schlictman are running for re-election. Voters will select three School Committee members for three-year terms.
School Committee member Jennifer Susse is not running for a third term, calling the position "enormously valuable" but "exhausting" in an interview with YourArlington.
