'No Kings' Rally Making A Return To Arlington
The nationwide rallies are organized by Indivisible and its local branches.
ARLINGTON, MA — A popular political rally is returning to the town this weekend featuring a prominent guest.
A “No Kings” protest is expected to take place at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist on 630 Massachusetts Ave. on Saturday, March 28. Participants will come together at approximately 10 a.m., with organizers expecting the event to last 90 minutes.
The No Kings movement gained national attention last year when millions of people participated in coordinated protests in thousands of cities and towns. Organized by a coalition of progressive groups, the protests aimed to reject the policies and actions of President Donald Trump and his administration. The No Kings message is centered on defending democratic institutions and ensuring that political power remains with the public rather than concentrated in a single leader.

"What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever," Indivisible leadership said in a statement. "When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence."
