The Attleboro Public Library will host an evening book discussion group on Thursday September 13, 2012 at 7pm in the Balfour Room led by Christine LeFort, Reader Services Coordinator and fiction buyer for the library.
This is part 4 of the “Fiction Reflects Life” series discussions dealing with relevant topics. We will be reading “Alice Bliss” by Laura Harrington. It is the story of Alice Bliss, a 15 year old girl whose father is deployed to Iraq. Through her teenage voice, we experience the uncertainty, the separation anxiety and the deep affection she has for her father.

This free drop in program is open to the public. This book is suitable for families with teens and tweens. Military and veteran families are welcomed and encouraged to take part. Area support organizations have been invited to take part in the discussion and provide further information on the topic. Registration is required. Books and audio books are available for checkout at the Attleboro Public Library 74 N. Main St. Attleboro, MA.
