4 Fatal Crashes Over Long Weekend In Mass.

The holiday weekend wasn't without tragedy around the Bay State. The summer holidays are always a particularly dangerous time to drive, and this year four people died in crashes, including one on the water. A 25-year-old Swampscott man riding a dirt bike died and two young children went to the hospital in a Saturday night crash in Saugus.

A 61-year-old Middleborough woman died, a teen was seriously injured and three others were hurt in a crash in Bourne Sunday.

A 31-year-old Brooklyn, New York, man was killed and a woman seriously injured when they were ejected from their vehicle on I-495 in Bolton Sunday.

A 39-year-old Lawrence man died in a collision between two jet skis on the Merrimack River in Lowell. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call them.

In what police are calling an accident, a 56-year-old Cambridge man drove his cab into a group of other cabbies, injuring 10, one seriously.

In sad news that happened off the roads, a 5-year-old child died Monday night when she fell four stories in Brookline.
