Boston Marathon Group Works Out Before Heading To Mile 18

These guys from Novemeber Project are weatherproof, they say.

BOSTON, MA — Cue "Eye of the Tiger," and get ready for a wet but incredible day. That's what the members and visitors at today's November Project free fitness group did this morning ahead of making their way to Mile 18.

It's become an annual tradition (though this may have been the first year a Boston Police officer supplied a bit of the music). Each year before runners take their marks in Hopkinton, a horde of folks crazy enough to wake up before 6 a.m. and get over to Cleveland Circle for a free work out courtesy of November Project.

November Project is a free fitness movement that began as a way for two former Northeastern athletes to make sure they got their workouts in after graduation. Now it's grown to include groups across the country with the mission of making fitness - for all levels - fun, accountable and accessible.
