New Hotel Earns Planning Board Approval

Braintree’s newest hotel is hoping to open their doors by Spring 2017.

Last week, the planning board approved the demolition of 166-194 Forbes Road and construction of a new six-story, 140-room Residence Inn according to the Patriot Ledger. The hotel will be located near Logan Express and the sixth near the Interstate 93-Route 37 junction.

Demolition of the current buildings is expected to take a couple of months with construction of the hotel starting afterwards.
