Stay Healthy and Support Education With Annual 5K Road Race

The Burlington Education Foundation (BEF) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting community support for education excellence in the Burlington Public Schools. The BEF ‘s mission is to channel donations from businesses and individuals to provide Burlington educators with an additional source of funding for creative and innovative curriculum enrichment programs.  Since its inception the BEF has awarded close to 70 grants totaling approximately $150,000. 

The BEF will hold its 8th Annual 5K Road Race on Sunday, May 6, 2012 beginning at 9am.

You can also register on race day at the , 123 Cambridge Street. All registered race participants receive a race T-shirt. 

Continue your healthy ways and contribute to education at the same time! This race day is filled with hundreds of runners, walkers and spectators. 

The certified 5K run (through the streets of Burlington) is preceded by a ½ mile Family Fun Run around Burlington High School.  $20 pre-registration fee for the 5K ($25 on race day).  $5 for the Family Fun Run.  

You don’t want to miss this energized community event with music, vendors, prizes, free samples, and great family fun.
