Tewksbury's Goat on the Run Spotted Again
After initially being spotted in Lowell and then Chelmsford, the animal has now been seen in Westford.

The elusive Tewksbury goat has been spotted again, this time in Westford.
It’s been nearly a month since the goat escaped from a farm and slaughterhouse in Tewksbury, there have been more sightings of the animal in area towns ever since. The goat made his escape on Friday, Dec. 26.
Just last weekend, State Trooper Dustin Finch took to Twitter to say the infamous goat keeps eluding troopers along Rte. 495 where he’s been grazing the area.

The elusive goat was first spotted in Chelmsford back on Jan. 1, when he was spotted in a residential backyard on McIntosh Road. The resident who spotted the animal tried to see if she could catch him, but he ran off into the woods behind her house. Last week he was spotted in Chelmsford again.
On Sunday, he was seen in Westford, staying within the Rte. 495 area.

The goat, said to weigh nearly 200 pounds, led a Lowell resident to spend nearly three hours that first night pursuing the goat. The goat made his way through an area of the city, while residents, as well as animal control officers and Lowell Police kept up the search. Despite being cornered a couple of times, the goat kept managing to evade his captors.
The goat continues to make headlines. He even has his own Twitter account @TheLowellGoat describing his escapades to its now upwards of 1,200 followers.
