
A water main broke on Monument Street in Concord Wednesday morning.
It happened between Liberty Street and Red Coat Lane, according to town officials.
Water service may be low or shut off shut off for surrounding customers. Repairs may take four to eight hours.

Here’s a notice from the town:
“If you are seeing brown water, we recommend running the cold water for five minutes to clear the line into your home. If the water doesn’t become clear in five minutes, shut it off, and wait one hour for the disturbance to settle or pass, and then try again.”
