5 Things You Need to Know Today: Friday, March 18

1. The first day of spring is just two-- count 'em-- TWO days way. Meaning the next time you read this column (Monday, of course) a new season will be upon us.
2. While temperatures in Dedham should be over 40 degrees all weekend, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Saturday. Gusts could reach 50 to 60 mph and possibly cause damage.

4. Dedham High School's production of opens tonight at 7 p.m. and shows again on Saturday at 7 p.m. Be sure to check back this afternoon-- we'll have a preview of the show and an inside look at the performers at 2 p.m. today.
