Dedham Candy Theft Leads Police to Drugs, Weapons Arrest
A Canton man faces charges following an alleged candy bar theft.

DEDHAM, MA — A Canton man charged with stealing candy bars now faces more charges after police allegedly found weapons and drugs in his car.
Monday, the Massachusetts State Police responded to a reported candy bar theft at a Dedham convenience store, according to WBZ.
After police located the man, he removed five candy bars from his pockets and police learned that the suspect's driver's license was expired. A search of his car turned up several knives, multiple guns, and drugs, police said.

The man, whose name was not released, was ordered held on $15,000. He was scheduled to be arraigned on shoplifting, gun, and dug charges Tuesday in Dedham District Court.
