Dedham Man Killed Outside of Randolph Bar
The DA's office says Drake Scott, 23, of Dedham was killed in an "execution-style murder."

DEDHAM, MA - A Dedham man was killed early Wednesday morning outside a bar in Randolph.
The suspect, Gregory Wright, 36, of Randolph, pleaded not guilty to murder, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute a class B substance (second offense) and carrying a firearm unlawfully, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office.
Shortly before 1 a.m., police received were responding to a reported disturbance outside when they heard gunshot outside of City Limits bar and music venue on North Main Street in Randolph. Officers quickly found and arrested Wright near the bar.

The victim was identified as Drake Scott, 23, of Dedham. In court, Assistant District Attorney Greg Connor said the shooting as an “execution-style murder” according to WHDH, adding that there was no explanation or relationship between the two.
Authorities believe the shooting is a contained incident and there is no ongoing danger to the public.
