Dedham Police Log: Trespassing, Person Pinned Between Cars, and More

July 22

9:28 p.m. - During a check of Dedham Plaza on Bussey Street, police observed a man drinking beer in the rear of the plaza. The man was informed that he was trespassing on town property and violating a town by-law for alcohol consumption. The man will be summons to court for trespassing and violating a town by-law.

July 23

4:55 a.m. - Two officers were dispatched to Dale and River Streets for a report of a strange vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed a truck with heavy damage and a missing wheel. The owner told police he lost control of his car on Cedar Street and drove into another car. He said he panicked and drove to his father’s house. The driver will be charged with leaving the scene of a crash with property damage.

11:16 a.m. - During a traffic stop on near Planet Fitness on Providence Highway, a driver received a citation for operating with a suspended license.

6:30 p.m. - A person at the Hilton Hotel on Allied Drive was pinned between two vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital.
