Supporting Charles River YMCA

Dedham Savings Community Foundation has awarded a grant to Charles River YMCA to strengthen its Out of School Time (OST) program.

Dedham Savings Community Foundation has awarded a grant to Charles River YMCA to strengthen its Out of School Time (OST) after school program. Grant funds will support two major improvements: the creation of a dedicated Sensory Room and the replacement of aging sports equipment. The Sensory Room will provide a calming, sensory-friendly environment for students—particularly those with autism or sensory processing challenges—helping them focus, self-regulate, and complete homework effectively. Upgrading outdoor recreation facilities will ensure safe, engaging opportunities for physical activity and teamwork.
