2-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Falmouth Inn

A fire in a conference room damaged the hotel Wednesday morning.

FALMOUTH, MA – Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a Falmouth hotel Wednesday morning. The fire started at the Falmouth Inn on Main Street around 9:15 a.m., and the department quickly added a second alarm upon arrival.

Crews found heavy black smoke on the first and second floors of the hotel, according to a statement from the Falmouth Fire Department. The fire in a first-floor conference room was brought under control.

The 10-15 employees and guests evacuated without injuries, the department said. No firefighters were injured.
