Attic Fire Damages Falmouth Home
A blaze Wednesday evening caused "significant" damage to a house on Sippewissett Road.

FALMOUTH, MA — An attic fire caused heavy damage to a house on Sippewissett Road Wednesday evening. Crews arrived to the home shortly after 5 p.m. and found smoke coming from the attic, according to the Falmouth Fire and Rescue Department.
Firefighters found "heavy" fire in the attic, and put it out in about 20 minutes, the department said.
The fire caused "significant" water and smoke damage to the entire house and fire damage to the attic, fire officials told the Cape Cod Times. There were no injuries.
