Falmouth Driver With Heroin Found Passed Out: Police

FALMOUTH, MA — A Sandwich man was arrested in Falmouth this week after police said they found him passed out at the wheel of a vehicle with heroin in his possession. John Hayes, 31, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs and heroin possession. Police said the arrest happened Tuesday.

At about 4 p.m., police said they received a report of someone passed out in a vehicle near a post office in West Falmouth.

"The officer determined that the male operator was impaired and in possession of (heroin)," police said in a statement. "As a result, the operator was placed under arrest."
