Falmouth Fire, Power Outages Reported

FALMOUTH, MA — More than 100 lost power in Falmouth Saturday afternoon — some due to a fire on Carriage Shop Road. At about 3 p.m., police said there was a brush fire and downed power lines on Carriage Shop Road near Old Meeting House Road. Power outages were reported in the area.

Then at about 4 p.m., more outages were reported on Route 151, including the loss of traffic light function. As of 4:50 p.m., there were 126 customers without power in town. Power was fully restored soon after.
