Falmouth Heroin Bust: Suspect Held On $100K, Police Say

Brian Cardoso, of Dorchester, was arrested on heroin charges by the Cape Cod Drug Task Force, authorities said.

FALMOUTH, MA — The Cape Cod Drug Task Force arrested a man in Falmouth on heroin trafficking charges, police announced Thursday. Brian Cardoso, 24, of Dorchester, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with a host of crimes. He was held on $100,000 bail.

Police said Wednesday at about 6 p.m. on Philadelphia Street in East Falmouth, Cape Cod Drug Task Force officers saw Cardoso make a drug transaction. He was arrested following a struggle and found with 21 grams of heroin and more than $1,300 in cash, police said. Cardoso was charged with heroin trafficking, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
