Falmouth House Fire Brought Under Control

FALMOUTH, MA — A fire at a home on Crescent Avenue was quickly put out Wednesday, fire officials said. Emergency crews went to the wood frame house around 2 p.m. and saw smoke coming from the eaves. A small fire was found on the porch overhang, according to the Falmouth Fire and Rescue Department.

There were no injuries. The fire was accidental, officials said.

Central Park Avenue and Crescent Avenue were closed while crews responded.
