Falmouth Patch Readers: Thank You For Your Support

Since launching in 2010, Falmouth Patch has grown in a big way. We'd like to take a moment to thank you for making it possible.

Falmouth Patch readers, you guys rock. Thank you for taking time out of your days to spend a few moments with us. You're a huge reason why we've grown and thrived this year.

In August, Falmouth Patch recorded 91,772 visitors – that's three times as many readers as Falmouth residents! Our visitors hail from Falmouth, for sure, but many residents of neighboring towns also land on Falmouth Patch from time to time (not to mention the summer crowd). That figure – compiled and verified through Google Analytics – includes readers on desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile and our app, and our visitors often access Patch on several devices over the month.

We launched Falmouth Patch nearly eight years ago, in December 2010. We've come a long way, and we couldn't have done it without your visits and contributions.

Got a news tip? I'm Alex Newman, your local editor and area resident. I've spent the last seven years in the greater Boston area, first in Boston proper as a college student, and then in Brookline and Somerville (plus a summer in Falmouth). My journalism career includes 2 1/2 years at Patch, preceded by stops at WGBH and MSNBC. It's been a real treat getting to live alongside the readers of the communities I serve. Send your tips, ideas and questions my way at alex.newman@patch.com.
