Falmouth Police Name February Officer Of The Month

FALMOUTH, MA – The Falmouth Police Department named Officer Ryan Hergt its Officer of the Month for February. Hergt, a 2005 graduate of Falmouth High School, has been the department's school resource officer for four years.

Hergt holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Bridgewater State University. This is the third time he has been awarded Officer of the Month.

The department's Officer of the Month program was designed to "support and encourage outstanding law enforcement work and to recognize the important contributions made by the department's law enforcement professionals," police said in a statement.
