Falmouth Police: Repeat Drunk Driver 3 Times Over Limit

Falmouth police said they arrested a repeat drunk driver who had a 0.27 blood-alcohol content.

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police on Friday said they arrested a repeat drunk driver who had a blood-alcohol content of 0.27 — more than three times the legal limit. A passenger in the car was also charged with heroin possession, police said. "On Friday at about 7 pm an officer stopped a vehicle for crossing the center line near the School Administration Building," Falmouth police said in a statement. "After a Field Sobriety Test the operator of the vehicle was placed under arrest."

The driver, a Wyoming man, was charged with his second drunk driving offense, police said. The names of the suspects were not immediately released.
