Falmouth Police: Underage Alcohol Stings Coming

Falmouth police said they will soon conduct alcohol compliance checks at retail establishments.

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police this week announced they will soon conduct compliance checks at local establishments that sell alcohol. The checks will include stings where an underage operative tries to buy alcohol. Businesses that sell to the underage buyer could be cited.

"This activity could consist of using an underage operative to purchase alcohol, monitoring businesses for underage activity and making sure businesses have permits," Falmouth police said in a statement. "This activity will occur throughout the remainder of 2017."
