FALMOUTH, MA — Two Falmouth teens, who suffered life-threatening injuries when their truck slid off an icy road and hit a tree, have made positive steps in their recovery, according to Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School officials. Brothers Colin Bostwick, 17, and Evan Bostwick, 14, were on their way to school when the crash happened on Route 28 near Barlows Landing Road in Bourne Tuesday morning. They were rushed to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence and have been there since after undergoing surgery.

School officials said both boys are awake, and that Colin Bostwick was able to walk with assistance.

"Colin is awake, alert and able to accurately answer questions," school officials said in a Facebook post. "He ate and drank on his own this morning and walked to Evan's room with some assistance. Evan is also awake and continues to make progress. Thanks to everyone for your continued well wishes and support."
