Man Found With Headless Goose On Falmouth School Grounds: PD
The man was arrested on Thanksgiving after telling police he was using a bow and arrow to shoot Canadian geese.

FALMOUTH, MA – A man was charged with hunting violations after he was found with a headless goose on the Lawrence School grounds, Environmental police said. Officers responded to the property on Thanksgiving Day and found one goose with its head removed and several arrows scattered across the fields, including one that had hit a shed.
The man told officers he was using a bow and arrow to target Canadian geese, according to police. He was charged with not having a federal duck stamp or undergoing a hunter education course, procuring a hunter license via false statement, hunting near dwelling in use within 500 feet and careless use of a weapon resulting in property damage.
His hunting equipment was seized.
