(capecodtimes.com) — Falmouth's Starbucks is among 11 Cape Cod locations that are staying open even as the company closes more than 250 shops across North America, including three in Massachusetts. The restructuring focuses on underperforming stores, while local in-store and in-supermarket cafes on the Cape continue operating as usual.

Nauset and Monomoy Play to a Scoreless Tie (provincetownindependent.org) — Nauset's boys soccer team extended its strong defensive run with a scoreless draw against Monomoy, continuing a three-game unbeaten streak. The Warriors now look to sharpen their offense during a busy road stretch that includes a midweek matchup at Falmouth before returning home to face Nantucket on October 8.
