  1. Brandon Spikes Charged in Hit and Run - In June, Former New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes was charged with crashing his luxury car into another vehicle in Foxborough—injuring a family of three—then fleeing the scene and lying that he struck a deer.
  2. Foxborough Teen Charged with Child Porn Possession - In May, a teen was arraigned in Dedham Juvenile Court after an investigation into sexting allegedly led to the discovery of child pornography on the boy’s computer
  3. Man Charged with Exposing Himself at Dunkin’ Donuts - In October, police received a report of a male who flashed his penis at a worker at the Commercial Street Dunkin’ Donuts after ordering a coffee in the store’s drive-thru.
  4. Vince Wilfork Helps Police Save Woman in Rollover Crash - In January, Vince Wilfork helped the Massachusetts State Police free a woman from her vehicle near the stadium. “I just saw a car turned over and turned around and just wanted to help. I think anybody would do the same thing,” Wilfork told reporters.
  5. Man Charged with Drunken Driving, Breaking into Home to Sleep - In September, a Mashpee man faced multiple charges after he allegedly crashed his car in front of a Beach Street home before letting himself in for some shut-eye.
  6. One Injured in Route 1 Crash - In October, the operator of a 2013 Kia Optima traveling in the middle travel lane of Route 1 North attempted to maneuver into the left lane and struck the rear of a Volvo in the process. The collision caused the operator of the Volvo to lose control of her vehicle, ultimately ending up in the southbound travel lane where she was struck by a tractor-trailer, which was traveling southbound at the time.
  7. Firefighters Respond to Roof and Building Collapse at Foxboro Terminals - In February, the massive amount of snow the area received took its toll on the Foxboro Terminals. Foxborough Fire issued a full recall for a reported two-alarm fire, gas leak, and roof collapse at the complex, located at the corner of Route 1 and North Street.
  8. VIDEO: Vehicle Drives into Pole on Route 1 - In September, a driver on Route 1 was lucky to avoid injury after crashing into a pole on the highway. Foxborough police released surveillance footage of the crash, which shows the car sliding off of Route 1 and into a pole at America’s Best Value Inn.

Former Foxborough Guidance Counselor Pleads Guilty to Stealing AP Exam Fees - In July, a former guidance counselor at Foxborough High School and Milton High School has admitted to stealing Advanced Placement exam fees from Milton High School. Kenneth Aubert, 62, of Roslindale, pleaded guilty in Norfolk Superior Court to five counts of larceny over $250 and was recently sentenced to three years of supervised probation and restitution to the Milton School Department.
  10. Tractor-Trailer Flips Onto Car During Accident at Route 495/95 Interchange - In June, local rescue crews responded to a serious accident at the Route 495 South/95 interchange that saw a tractor-trailer rolled over, crushing a car. Multiple injuries were reported at the scene. One person was trapped but was freed by firefighters. Three people were taken to the hospital.
