MA Patch Daily: Officer Helps Marathoner, No Texting While Driving, Spat Fight

Plus, no charges filed in tragic 2014 Back Bay blaze, a turkey gets stuck in a fence, a man is arrested in a tunnel, and more.

The big news of the day is that a Malden company will not face charges in the case of the 2014 Back Bay fire that tragically took the lives of two Boston firefighters. Over in Somerville, call it a “spat” fight after two women from Medford were arrested while fighting and spitting at each other. A man was arrested after getting stuck in a tunnel in Boston. A marathon runner was helped by a Framingham police officer but didn’t know his name. She was able to find out who helped her today. The Boston Marathon Bombing trial penalty phase has also started. And sweet apple chicken sausages at Trader Joe’s are being recalled.
