The fire reportedly broke out at near a residence at 114 Marrett Rd. and was exacerbated by strong winds. The National Weather Service reported gusts as high as 25 mph.

The Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington was evacuated Thursday morning after a “loud bang.” There were no immediate reports of injuries. The schools superintendent students and staff felt a “jolt” underground.
