EVERETT, MA — Police are looking for a man who may be stabbing people at random after a fatal attack and robbery Tuesday night in Everett — the second stabbing in the area in 10 days. Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Everett police Chief Steven Mazzie asked for the public's help in identifying the man sketched above, who they say could be the suspect.

The man is a possible suspect in the murder of Michael Starr, 54, of Everett. Starr was stabbed Tuesday at about 9 p.m. on Bradford Terrace. Starr, who lived in the area, was walking home from a store on Ferry Street when he was attacked, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at Cambridge Health Alliance–Everett.

Authorities said there appears to be no motive in the fatal attack.

They also want to know if anyone has seen anything suspicious the past several weeks in the area of Ferry Street, Cedar Street or Bradford Street. The public should not approach the suspect.
