• Malden Man Facing Federal Kidnapping And Trafficking Charges (patch.com) — Malden police and federal agents arrested a 29-year-old Malden man on serious kidnapping and trafficking charges after a woman was found confined in an unfinished attic in the city. Authorities say the woman, now safe with family, was allegedly held for weeks and subjected to sexual exploitation, while the suspect pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
