Marlborough Construction Worker Saved Choking Boy: Police
Charles Fegan was given an award for his efforts this week by Marlborough police.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough police are hailing the actions of a local construction worker who saved a child's life recently.
According to police, Charles Fegan was working at a construction site on July 2 when a mother approached him needing help. She was with her son who was "actively choking on an unknown object," according to police.
Fegan jumped into action and performed the Heimlich maneuver, and the boy spit out the object he was choking on — all before police and firefighters arrived.
