Farmer's Almanac Winter Forecast: White Christmas, Colder Temps, Increased Snowfall on Martha's Vineyard

The Old Farmer's Almanac just released its prediction for the upcoming winter.

Snow may be hard to imagine right now during the dog days of summer—but expect more than usual this winter on Martha’s Vineyard.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac just compiled its 2015/16 winter forecast, which calls for below-average temperatures and above-average snowfall. It won’t be as snowy as the most recent winter, which was the snowiest on record in the Boston region.

The upcoming winter will likely feature a white Christmas, almanac editor Janice Stillman told the Associated Press.
