Humpback Whales Die On Cape Cod
Two adult humpback whales died after washing up in the Monomoy Island area, officials announced this week.
CHATHAM, MA — Two adult humpback whales died in recent days after stranding themselves on Monomoy Island. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy said Thursday one whale was found dead on the island near the wildlife refuge after stranding itself. The other was found about 2 miles south and euthanized, according to the Cape Cod Times.
