5 Arrested After Brawl Over Booze at Everett Chuck E. Cheese
After police told a man he could not drink at Chuck E. Cheese, a crowd allegedly turned hostile against the officers.
EVERETT, MA – A heated exchange over alcohol at a Chuck E. Cheese in Everett allegedly turned violent Saturday when a crowd reportedly turned hostile against police.
Officers responded to a report of adults consuming alcohol at the Chuck E. Cheese. One man allegedly became belligerent with police, along with several others who appeared to be drinking as well. He was taken into custody, but others allegedly incited the crowd against the officers.
Several customers began punching and kicking the officers, Everett police said, and additional units were requested from the Everett and Medford police departments and Massachusetts State Police.

Five people were arrested following the row. Samuel Ramos, 33, of Dorchester, was charged with disorderly person, resisting arrest and interfering with police; Pedro Abreu, 53, of Chelsea, was charged with disorderly person, resisting arrest, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and was arrested on six additional warrants; Jose Rosado-Cruz, 30, of East Boston, was charged with disorderly person, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer; Emily Joyce Emerson, 22, of Lynn, was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer and being a disorderly person; and Yoselin Enid Rosado, 33, of Roxbury, was charged with disorderly person and assault and battery on a police officer.
"It’s extremely disappointing to see adults behave in this manner in an establishment that is designed for young family fun," Everett Police Chief Steven Mazzie said in a statement. "I’m thankful that our officers were able to restore order in a quick manner and were able to hold those responsible for the disturbance accountable for their actions."
