Network Health Appoints Manager of Corporate Marketing and Media Relations
Health plan promotes communications program manager
MEDFORD, Mass. — Network Health, a nonprofit health plan that provides access to comprehensive health care for more than 215,000 Massachusetts residents, announced today that it has promoted Cambridge, Mass., resident Nadia Sharif, to manager of corporate marketing and media relations. Sharif previously served as Network Health’s communications program manager.

As manager of corporate marketing and media relations, Sharif will be responsible for managing Network Health’s internal and external communications, driving public and media relations strategies, and leading marketing operations processes and special projects. These responsibilities include planning, creating, implementing, tracking, and evaluating marketing and communications initiatives. Sharif will also be responsible for managing corporate branding and identity as well as driving market research and data analysis to inform public relations strategies.
Sharif joined Network Health in 2012 as the health plan’s communications program manager. In this role, she managed the communication needs of Network Health’s executive team, the day-to-day public relations strategy development, ideated and executed television and radio marketing campaigns, and managed social media strategy and execution.
Prior to joining Network Health, Sharif served as a marketing and communications officer for Kenya-based Western Seed Company, a leading provider of hybrid seed to small-scale farmers in East Africa. Sharif previously served as a publicist, domestic publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures Inc. in New York City where she executed publicity campaigns for new movie releases to maximize exposure. Sharif received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Language from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. She currently resides in Cambridge, Mass., with her husband who is studying at Harvard Business School.
