Arrest Made In Everett Knife Attack
Police are investigating a possible connection to a fatal stabbing in the same area.
EVERETT, MA — Police have made an arrest in connection with a non-fatal stabbing in Everett last month but are still investigating a possible link to a fatal stabbing in the area. Victor Mariscal, 27, of Everett, has been charged with armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery causing serious bodily injury.
Mariscal is accused of stabbing a 28-year-old Everett man on Bradford Terrace March 16. Police are investigating a possible connection to the fatal stabbing of 54-year-old Michael Starr in the same area on March 26.
Authorities have not charged Mariscal with Starr's murder.

"While we continue to investigate, we hope this arrest will restore some comfort to the residents of the Bradford Terrace neighborhood," said Chief Steven Mazzie said in a statement.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said a member of the public identified Mariscal based on a police sketch. He was arrested Thursday evening in Cambridge and will be arraigned Friday in Malden District Court.
