Arrests in Medford: May 31-June 5

There were 10 arrests in Medford from Friday, May 31, to Wednesday, June 5.

Brittany Coffey, 21, of 500 Salem St., Medford, was arrested at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on Salem Street and charged with assault and battery. Coffey also had warrants for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, having an uninsured motor vehicle/trailer and a miscellaneous equipment violation.

Grant Thomas, 27, of 269 Place Lane, Woburn, was arrested at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday on Walker Street on warrants for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a police officer, breaking and entering during the day for felony, resisting arrest, threat to commit a crime and destruction of property over $250.

Tuesday, June 4

David Wakely, 47, of 26 Lewis St., Medford, was arrested at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday on Lewis Street and charged with assault and battery.

Matthew Davis, 34, of 69 Grove St., Chelsea, was arrested at about 3:47 p.m. Tuesday on the Fellsway West on warrants for failing to stop for police and conspiracy to violate the drug law.

Jeremy Broucek, 25, of 8 South Sidney St., Dorchester, was arrested at about 1:48 a.m. Tuesday on Mystic Valley Parkway and charged with operating under the influence, first offense.

Sunday, June 2

Thomas Keohane, 45, of 50 Water Street, Medford, was arrested at about 10:03 p.m. Sunday on Water Street and charged with assault and battery.

Jonathan Spanks, 23, of 440 North Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at about 10:23 a.m. Sunday on Riverside Avenue and charged with accosting/annoying a person.

Saturday, June 1

Jade Ortiz, 26, of 270 Canal Street, Lawrence, was arrested at about 4:01 p.m. Saturday on Sheridan Avenue on warrants for possessing a Class A drug, operating a motor vehicle with license suspended and having no inspection sticker.

Katie Bates, 19, of 58 Foster Court, Medford, was arrested at about 4:01 p.m. Saturday on Sheridan Avenue on warrants for assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and destruction of property under $250.

Friday, May 31

Nichole Penney, 39, of 18 Vermont Ave., Somerville, was arrested at about 1:08 p.m. Friday on the Fellsway and charged with shoplifting. Penney also had a warrant for shoplifting, according to police.
