Bistro 5 Chef Cooks for His Holiness

Vittorio Ettore, the chef/owner of Bistro 5 in West Medford and A Tavalo in Winchester Center, cooked lunch for the Dalai Lama on his recent visit to Boston, according to the Boston Globe.

Ettore told the Globe he was nervous about the encounter, which took place at Boston’s Wang Theatre, despite cooking for celebrities, including Michael Bloomberg, Kelly Clarkson, Quincy Jones, Adam Levine and Renee Russo, in the past.
