Burke Appointee Allie Fiske Leaving For Role In Swampscott
Business & Cultural Liaison Allie Fiske has accepted a position in the Swampscott Town Administrator's office.
MEDFORD, MA — Business & Cultural Liaison Allie Fiske is leaving Medford for a job in the Swampscott Town Administrator's office. Fiske was appointed by Mayor Burke in 2016 and served as the key liaison to businesses, community organizations and arts groups. She also worked as the License Commission Secretary.
"Allie has been an asset in my Administration," Burke said in a statement. "Her ability and willingness to collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and constituents has strengthened my Administration’s partnerships with the community."
During her tenure in Medford, Fiske partnered with several departments and oversaw initiatives and operations including the Riverside Plaza Concert Series, the New Business Guide, the City Hall Art Exhibit. Fiske helped launch the new management company at the Chevalier Theatre and the effort to regulate breweries in the City of Medford.

"I have been incredibly honored to work for the City of Medford for the past few years," Fiske said in a statement. "I am grateful for all that I have learned under the leadership of Mayor Burke and in my partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and my fellow colleagues here at City Hall."
Fiske will work out of the Office of the Town Administrator and Board of Selectman assisting with the many important initiatives underway in Swampscott.
